Chartis Insurance UK – 2010 Annual Report
Chartis UK’s 2010 report built on the foundations established by the 2009 document. The primary audience for the report is insurance brokers and the companies that Chartis UK insures.
In 2010, a key aim was to enhance the description of how Chartis UK works with insurance brokers and to demonstrate the ways it can add value for them. We did this through additions to the main narrative and through case studies. In particular, we added to the explanation of the company’s business model, to highlight how Chartis UK builds relationships with brokers so it can understand their needs.
2010 was a year of change for Chartis UK, with the announcement of a proposed move to a pan-European structure, the appointment of a new managing director and ongoing work to meet upcoming regulatory changes. The annual report therefore set out to communicate both Chartis UK’s enduring strengths and how the planned changes would benefit brokers and clients when they were implemented.
The reporting process involved working closely with both the client and 85FOUR, to ensure the design and copy complemented and supported each other.
